BPA is a South East Asian enterprise, founded in 2008, concerned with improving corporate governance through delivering research, professional education, and advocacy in the area where human behaviour meets governance, risk management and strategy in the Boardroom and "C" suite.
Profits are reinvested in the purposes of the organisation, particularly research.
To avoid conflicts of interest, we do not undertake search assignments. When appropriate, we partner with senior academic and/or other figures and organisations to achieve our purposes.
It is our view that the behavioural and cultural aspects of the task of Boards of directors have been not been fully appreciated by researchers, commentators and advocates - although this may be changing.
We see that Boards have two distinct sets of tasks with regard to behavioural and cultural issues that both need to be executed well:
Our reaseach, advocacy and programmes address both aspects of the task of the Board in addressing behavioural impacts. We also address the role of the CEO and other senior executives in these matters.
